Add Media Player (Media output) Back to the Lock screen!

This is really a big problem. Samsung had one of the best media players and now it doesn't show on the lock screen. Please change this fast!

I found a solution (kind of) The new "Now Bar" can show at the bottom of the lock screen and you can tap on it to get to the media player. Just make sure that you have the settings on the now bar to play media.

It's really not at all the same. The other one about was larger, gave the all the playback options, let you see the whole song title and band name, and on Spotify at least let you add a song to a playlist. This one is tiny and inconvenient

If you tap the Now Bar while media is playing, it expands full-screen with album art and more options.

While it does expand, its not actually helpful. Its so small and unusable on its own, and in the absolute worst position on the screen. This entire update is garbage. Nothing works better than before, nothing looks better than before.  Samsung, if this is not reverted back to the way it was before, my next phone will be a Pixel.

Samsung must absolutely hate thier customers. I hated Moto's planned obsolescence but they never messed with my phone controls.

Thanks so much for this thread! I actually had Samsung tech support remote into my phone and they couldn't work out how to replace the new tiny music control with something large enough to see.  In case it helps others I will mention that, on my on my S24+, I can now expand the music control to a nice full screen, but only after double tapping the tiny music control in lock-screen. Single tap or long press does nothing as I found out after 30 minutes of frustration.

Two things you can try. If using the Samsung Music app go into the settings and turn on the toggle control music from the lock screen. This will put a full size player on the lock screen while Samsung Music is playing.

You can add a widget using Good Lock app from the Samsung Store and downloading LockStar plugin from within the app.
