0.6x zoom camera will not work

My 0.6x zoom camera no longer works on my brand new phone. Everytime I try to use it, the entire camera app freezes for 10 seconds, and then it defaults to the normal 1x zoom camera with no auto focus. I have tiretired resetting everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any tips?

Have you tried removing the camera app data

Try clearing the cache in the camera app, and go to settings, apps, camera, storage, clear cache.

Does this happen to be an s22?
