Yesterday i was out when device said update to UI6 i did this then reaised i would do at home on the wifi so stopped it. Came home and started again, was going very very slow to download usually quicker. During this is started restarting itself only allowing you to unlock press one or 2 screens and restart again. I had to go out put device in bag and went out as i had no wifi i would come up on screen saying continue with update i ignored as i had no wifi. Today it is still doing same so i cannot continue with update i get to settings go to open and it restarts? can anyone help please?
Yeah if the update fails while in progress (whether because your battery dies OR there's network issues), it could corrupt the software update, much like on a computer. I'd suggest holding down Volume Up and Power to boot into Recovery Mode, and see if you can install it that way. If not, you might have to contact Samsung for support.
