copy photos from pc to gallery

I use a Synology NAS to backup my photos in the phones gallery using their app.. Recently I had to perform a factory reset. 

Is there a quick way to get the photos back to the phone as Samsung backup or google didn't work. TIA

@Cyberwasp Are you using Synology Photos? 

If so, according to their help pages -> In Photos, Albums, or Sharing, select photos and tap > Download.
