My phones Wi-Fi calling suddenly stopped working today. There was an update on 9/12 and I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I've done a restart, cleared system cache. Any advice?
That would be a carrier issue. Are you in the middle of nowhere? It is my understanding that the satellite connection does not kick in unless you are totally unconnected from a cell signal or wi-fi network. It is also my understanding that you do not use wi-fi calling with a satellite connection. If you have mobile on and you are disconnected from any signal, then the satellite automatically connects and you should be showing the satellite connection symbol in your status bar. If you are connected to a wi-fi network, that would be a transmission problem on your network. In any case, contact your carrier, as both satellite and wi-fi calling are a carrier issue. Is the S23 even satellite capable?
