Verizon Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

Aren't all these updates tried out by Verizon before they sent them out That's what I was informed they did for people that have contract phones If so I don't think this one did too good

I came here for answers to my 405 error.  It was showing 407 earlier but came up 405 on second attempt to install update.

I spoke with Samsung tech support. I was informed to shut my phone off, put it in airplane mode, and try restarting the update. So far, I'm at 57 percent complete. It's a slow process, but it's working. I hope this helps someone.

Since Jan. 20th, my s23 Ultra has tried to update 4 times, and each time it's a different code. It's really slow and only gets to about 4% before saying failed. Now my phone is running slow. Update still won't work. I have Verizon as well.

Nice to know it's not the phone's issue. S22 here.. same outcome, even tried it from my desktop wired. Thanks people!

This exact scenario and sequence of error codes happened to me. I cleared cache and data for Google Play which was recommended for one of the errors, but no change - still can't get update to go.

I'm getting the same error code. Getting pretty nervous. The last time I had an update fail it kept trying to install over and over, rendering my S23 useless. Samsung support was useless and they told me to take the phone to an authorized service center which I did and they told me that phone was trashed. There's nothing that could be done to repair it. I called Samson again they told me to send the phone in and then sent me a link with the information. They wanted to charge me several hundred dollars just to look at the phone. The local Verizon store tried to help but could not and recommended a another local vendor who looked at it and said it could not be repaired either. I ended up having to buy a new phone. So this failed update is really making me nervous... My wife has an iPhone and never has any problems like this whatsoever. I've been fighting the urge to get an iPhone because it seems so foreign to me but at this point in my life I don't have time for this **bleep**.
