Galaxy S23Hi,
So I use my S23 for work and usually connect a BOYA by v10 on the UBS port so I can record videos with a better external Bluetooth microphone. The other day I had a problem where my phone said moisture in USB port, but I didn't drop it on water, neither have it wet, so I watched a tutorial which said that I needed to clear USB Settings' cache, as I did and it solved the problem. Fast forward some days and haven't used my external mic neither connected the phone on my PC, so it went unnoticed. After 2 weeks, my phone updated and I needed to use my mic, when I connected it, a pop up message appeared saying (in Portuguese-BR, don't know if this is the exactly same message in English) "USB not recognized: The USB device connected is not compatible", so I tested my original Samsung USB-C to USB-C cable, that came with my phone, on my PC and it doesn't show S23 as it used to.
Before you suggest, I've already tried:
- Using another cable;
- Using another original cable;
- Using a file transfer usb-c cable;
- Clearing USB Settings Cache;
- Restarting my Phone;
- Restarting my PC;
- Testing my mic on another phone;
- Resetting my phone configurations;
- Allowing USB debugging;
- Enabling Audio reroute;
- Changing USB default Settings;
- Changing the PC I was using.
The list goes on and on, can't even remember what I tried.
Other details:
- It doesn't show a "USB Charging" notification when connected to my PC, it just shows "Charging Battery";
- I have already connected and transferred files successfully to my PC before;
- I have already used my external mic successfully before;
- Bought this phone on May this year;
- I am using my USB-C mic on my PC right now.
I am pretty sure this could be a "driver" issue, if it was on a PC, i would just reinstall USB drivers. Can't I do it with my phone?
