The latest update on my S23 Ultra, is utter trash. My phones keyboard is atrocious. It texts random characters, touchscreen requires multiple taps to respond. If this is what the updates do to my device, i'm better off not getting the updates. Get it together Samsung. You're charging too much, for too little in return.

@daREXisking Have you tried clearing the cache partition?

Sometimes old cache values can be corrupted or invalid after a firmware update.

To wipe the device cache partition:

  1. Power off your device.
  2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
  3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
  4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
  5. Click the side key to select it.
  6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
  7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
  8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

Thanks for the advice. I did it, and it still does the same. It also does random swipes, sends messages before i am done texting....this phone has become an utter disaster. It has taken me 10 minutes just to type this.

@daREXisking Try booting into safe mode. If everything works great while booted in safe mode, you know that it is caused by 3rd party software. To boot in safe mode, https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

If isn't 3rd party software, I would recommend that you do a full factory data reset.
