Text messages randomly not sending

Text messages not going through or it's very sporadic. This is day 2 that my husband and I can't effectively communicate through text. Anyone else experienced this? How does this get fixed?

It might be because of your carrier. Have you checked with them?

No we haven't it. Phone calls are fine. Just the texts. Don't understand why I can't uninstall and then reinstall the text app either. So frustrating. Thanks.

Texts are still the province of the carrier.  It happens sometimes that the texts are having signal problems.  They are on a different band than the calls. Check with your carrier to see if they can help you troubleshoot. Is your husband the only person you can't communicate with by text?

My wife has the same issue with her phone number. She has trouble getting ahold of me or my daughter and what makes it strange is how they just seem to not work for me and my daughter. Everything else works just fine. Just my daughter and me don't work for some reason. I think it's got to be a settings issue that must have turned itself on all the sudden. Does your ringtone change by themselves as well or is that a settings issue as well.

I have my phone on vibrate for most notifications. So I have no idea. I have looked into the settings or any updates I have missed and found nothing. 🤷‍:female_sign:

I experienced that issue as well. Restarting my phone solved the problem.
