One UI 7 changed the behavior of the notification/quick settings panel.
By default, it is now separated into notifications only when you swipe down from the left and settings only when you swipe down from the right.
To revert to the legacy notification panel:
- pull down from the top right of the screen to open quick settings
- tap the pencil icon in the top right corner. This will open panel editing mode.
- While in editing mode, tap Panel settings in the top left corner.
- Change the panel settings from "separate" to "together."
This will restore the original behavior of the panel.
