Hey there! I can certainly understand needing your swipe to unlock to work! Let's see if some of these troubleshooting steps may help us get it back working.

Wipe Cache Partition:
After an update, cached data can become corrupted. Clearing the cache partition in recovery mode can resolve this.
To wipe the cache partition:
Power off your device.
Press and hold the Volume Up and Side/Power buttons until you see the Samsung logo.
Select "Wipe cache partition" using the Volume buttons and the Side/Power button to execute.
Select "Yes" and then "Reboot system now".
2. Force Restart:
A force restart can resolve temporary software glitches.
To force restart: Hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons until the device restarts.

Next I would suggest a factory data reset to kind of push anything in the software back through that may have gotten stuck.

You can also submit an error report by going to the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.

Still doesn't work since the ui7 upgrade (downgrade?). Never a problem on the ui6 .

Samsung Galaxy A14.

Really wish I could go back to ui6
