Galaxy S23How can I revert these incessant UI changes? How can I opt-out?
I don't want your stupid stacked clock. I don't want your pill-shaped battery. I don't want rounded apps on my home screen.
This is seriously making me think about never touching a Samsung product ever again. Seriously, JUST ASK if I like the new UI instead of changing it for me. I can see security updates, but UI? Changing MY personalization? Quit it and tell me how to reverse it.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Galaxy S23Maybe replying with something useful will help. I spent $1500 on my phone, it is perfectly acceptable to be "self centered" for something that is literally mine genius.
How about I take something of yours, then mock you when you want it back? Oh right, that's bullying. Do better.

Download Good Lock. You can change a lot of these weird changes that they've forced down our throats. But seriously, Good Lock is a lifesaver.

Galaxy S23Good Lock does not much beyond giving more options to customize clock. You could add widgets before too.
But you can not change some notifications and audio control to the previous (ui6) pattern without widgets (that are permanently there, and previously available), you get a small pills and that is it.

Galaxy S23Really no way to revert to another Android version other than rooting.
As others have echoed in the comments check out GoodLock or the Home app in the Galaxy store for more customizations to your liking or to make it look more like 1ui7 if you prefer.

Galaxy S23The first form that allows you to opt out of updates will be the number one phone in the world. Honestly I'd pay $3,000 for a phone that would not have updates.
