Can anyone be of help?

My s21fe got stolen, and I had to get the unlocked galaxy s23fe a few months ago, but unfortunately, I'm unable to get the UI7.0 Android15 update. The last update showing is from September 1, 2024. Anytime I check for system update, it tells me the software is up to date.

Any suggestion on what I can do to get the latest updates.

Okay, I will give a trial.
Thanks.

Peradventure, it didn't work. Do you have any other means of getting the update?

If the phone can be used on any network since it is carrier-unlocked, it should be good.

Go to settings>About phone>Software information>look at the service provider software version. It most likely contains ATT or VZW. You can flash a device with ATT - AT&T but it's difficult to unlock the bootloader for VZW - Verizon. If it was originally sold by any carrier that uses Verizon network, you will have the same issue. If the code is TMB - T-Mobile, connect to WiFi and you should get updates.

The easiest way to get updates is to find a user with an active SIM card on AT&T or Verizon, pop it in, connect to WiFi, and check for updates.

That's the problem. FYI that Android doesn't jump to the latest update so if you insert a Verizon SIM and connect to WiFi, it will take you a long time to get all previous updates before 1UI7.

Figure out how to get it flashed using Odin. First, flash it to Verizon U1 firmware, then again to XAA firmware to permanently change the bootloader to U1 for future updates. Otherwise, you'll find yourself doing the same thing again for updates.

Use www.samfw.com to download the firmware and XDA-DEVELOPER for step-by-step instructions. Don't try it until you're 1000% sure of what you're doing and again, backup before attempting the flashing. Good luck
