Selecting an address sending me to wrong app

When I need a map to get to an address, I used to go to an address in Contacts, and select the address I want directions for.  Recently, my phone has been bringing up the Google Earth App instead of Google Maps.  Is there something I need to do to have my phone go the the Google Maps App when selecting an address in contacts?

Try going to phone settings -> Apps -> Choose default apps -> Opening links. Click on Google Earth and turn off Open supported links.

Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
Go into Apps.
Select Default apps.
You can also go into Opening links to edit individual apps on your phone and pick Google maps as the default and have opening links option selected
