S23 ultra camera continues to fail

Has anyone else had this issue. I can hardly use my camera on my phone anymore. I tried restarting and force stopping my phone.

Im failed on front facing camera. Portrait works, selfie work, expert raw works. Unable to scan QR codes in apps. Tried Clearing cache, reset settings and factory reset and still not working. This all happened on the last software update. Horrible

phone updated last night, wake up this morning and the camera is displaying "Warning Camera Failed."

i can click and hold on the app and the selfie camera works but if i switch it to rear facing the app crashes.

worked without issue prior to the update.

ive already cleared app cache and data as well as reset cache partition but its still dead.

Did you perform a wipe cache partition after the update? This should be done after every software update to maintain your phone. It gets rid of old junk files that are incompatible with the update.

Did you try to clear cache in the camera app?

I am sorry this is happening to you.

You can try a factory reset to see if that fixes things. If that doesn't work, a trip to an authorized Samsung service center might be your best course of action. A software update shouldn't cause this to happen, in very rare instances this does happen.

Wipe the cache from the cache partition, than go into camera settings in apps and force stop clear cache, and if you want to clear data from the camera and see if that works

Took my s23 into the local asurion ubreakifix center, guy saw what i had and just asked "camera?" Told him yea and he said that he had 9 come in so far today all same issue. Its not hardware, the update broke the camera app and to either wait for it to get patched or see if my carrier is running any promos and trade it in so this is going in as $1200 towards a pixel10 pro.

Been running samsung for 13 years and 5 phones and this is enough.
