Agreed. I have to charge my phone at least 5 times a day. Might go back to iPhone

Samsung is aware and working on a patch to fix the issue.
.I suggest going into the support tab of the members app and report the issue in the feed back section. The more reports the faster the fix.

Or simply clear the cache on the phone. And wait a day or so. Works wonders.

Clearing the cache doesn't actually resolve the problem, but I may have found a solution today by accident. I decided to check my sleeping apps and deep sleeping apps list, and both were empty.

Before the update, almost every app in my phone was in deep sleep mode, with a few in just regular sleep mode. After the update, evidently, all apps were put back to always active.

They would eventually go back into deep sleep mode after 30 days, but that's 30 days of thinking there is a problem with One UI 7 when there actually isn't.

I have been on One UI 7 for about 10 days now, and I just realized what happened, and now my battery drain is pretty much back to how it was before the update. That basically resolved the issue for me. Crazy

Hang in there! Updates often stabilize battery after a while.

It’s wild how one update can completely change the feel of a device. You think you’ve got all your settings tuned, then bam everything shifts. It reminded me of reading about the causes of the 30 years war, where a few triggering events led to a massive, drawn-out conflict. It shows how complex systems whether historical or technological can be thrown off by a few seemingly small adjustments. Hopefully, future updates bring back more stability and customization options.

I've had a Galaxy S23 Ultra for about a year and a half. Everything is okay, and I'm satisfied, especially with the great camera, which allows me to take nice, high-quality photos. There is one problem, however: the terrible battery. Unfortunately, for the past few months, the battery has been draining quickly, and its health has deteriorated. A full charge now lasts less than 10 hours, even though it lasted over a day just a few months ago. I've tried to protect it by turning on various power-saving functions, but not only did this not help, the battery life is getting worse.

What should I do to protect my battery? Is a battery replacement necessary in this condition?

Does it tell you what app is taking the most battery usage? I had a problem like this awhile ago with my S24 Ultra and I had to disable a random app that was taking tons of my battery.

I've taken pretty intensive measures to preserve battery life post update. Before the update battery life was never an issue despite streaming and heavy camera & editing. Diagnostics says it's A-ok.

After samsung updated to new Ai update; battery drains like crazy. Used phone 5 minutes just scrolling news(like I do every day) it's at 88% from a 100. In 5 minutes

This is ridiculous
