My s23 ultra suddenly went black while charging and now it doesn't do anything. I tried volume key down and power button hold for 40 seconds and still won't do anything. I plugged in charger, nothing. I don't have a computer so that's not an option.

Hello, I understand your concerns about your display screen going black and now your device is not responding. Verify that your device does not have any damage to the SIM card or the charging part. Connect your charger to your device and leave it plugged in for at least 1 hour. The battery charging indicator may take up to 10 minutes to appear on the display. After an hour disconnect the phone and hold the power button for 20 seconds. If the screen turns on, your device requires a charge. Turn off your device and reconnect it to the appropriate charger until it's fully charged. If the screen fails to turn on after performing the previous steps, your device needs service. You can proceed with self-service using this link: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

It happened right after I updated to January's security patch.
