Is there a reason why I haven't gotten the One UI 8 update. I have SM-711U1 with a sim card for Spectrum(Charter Communications). Am I waiting for Spectrum or Samsung to release my batch at this point? Haven't seen a lot talking about it. At this point just give me the October patch with it lol

One UI 7 with September 1, 2025 patch (As of October 10,2025- 8:59pm EST)

That's why you have Spectrum... spectrum is literally one of the worst and slowest carriers out of every carrier in existence.
When Samsung releases the updates they've released them to usually the European regions first followed by unlocked phones in every other area of the world and then they send their updates to every phone company the phone companies alter them and lock them as well as add what they want of their apps to the operating system and then release it by order of the most recent device to the oldest device that is still able to receive the update..
Usually Verizon is the first to get their updates followed by T-Mobile with AT&T being at the bottom
Then on top of that you have to figure we're up to the s25 so they're going to have to do the s25 the s24 then the s23 and every rendition in between that's going to receive it...
Then there's spectrum..... they are so terrible and so bad with their updates that in many cases it could take you two months or more before you actually get the update that we already have.
This is why you don't even have the October patch yet that most of us get within the first to maybe beginning of the second week of every month...
I would recommend you getting some prepaid Straight Talk Samsung device because you would still receive your updates faster than being on the most unreliable Network in the entire world which is Spectrum.
This is one of those cases where Samsung has nothing to do with the problem but your phone company has everything to do with the problem
