One UI8 update has stopped my S View Cover Screen working on my S23 Ultra, the cover screen menu is also not available in the settings. When I close the cover it no longer turns off my screen or locks it and no longer displays a clock in the top right hand corner. So annoying! So I currently have an expensive Samsung cover that does not work with my phone! It was absolutely fine on One UI7!!! Please help or fix this with an update!
UPDATE: I did a force restart by holding down the Volume Down & the Power Button at the same time for 20 seconds, until phone restarts. Once it completed the restart, the S-View cover now works. Also the Cover Screen options are now available again under Notifications. Thanks Gemini!
Same issue on my S24 Ultra! Just stopped working after security patch update Nov, 1, 2025 installed last night. Very annoying!
