In all the 27 years that I have had Samsung phones, which has been pretty long I have not been happy with the color in the photos .
I called samsung, when they tried unsuccessfully, do correct the problem,.I was told to take it to" you break i fix" for them to correct it. Why would I need to go to that store when the colors have been that way since day one in each phone? What is wrong with samsung's photo colors? I have been seriously thinking of changing to an iPhone because I needed ,for an insurance company, photos of damaged personal property. Deep rust turned out to be a pale rust color. When taking pictures of full foliage everything is muted.
Does anyone have any suggestions that maybe I can do before going to those stores?
I don't have/ haven't had any issue with colors with the colors on my Samsung phones (or any phone for that matter). Are you sure you have your screen colors adjusted accordingly, adjusted the camera settings? Have you considered that for 27 years, perhaps your eyes' color vision has a deficit?
I have to admit I'm a bit curious as to how OP has been taking pictures with Samsung phones for 27 years when their first camera phone wasn't available in the US until 2003. Also curious as to why OP has been dissatisfied with Samsung devices for nearly 30 years yet continues to purchase and use them.

Questions aside, you can adjust your camera settings to your liking within the camera app. Exposure and saturation in particular will be important in achieving the desired color balance for your photos. You can even apply filters if you find those helpful. If the settings within the stock camera app are insufficient for your needs, Samsung also offers the Expert RAW camera app.
