I'd like to be able to remove several items from the control panel/ quick panel setting such as media control, SmartThings, and other stuff that I don't use. It doesn't seem possible to remove them from the current when UI 7, and these are taking up useless space on my screen considering I don't use them at all. Will it ever be possible to customize this to my liking, instead of somebody that decides what I need to look at on my phone that I paid a lot of money for, instead of what I want?

@USMCvet You can rearrange the items but can't remove them.

As of now, not possible on Ui7. Not possible on Ui8 either.

I am hoping this wil be moved to a Good Lock module. Good Lock has new customization features in Ui8.

@mrvlfan Fold 7 and Flip 7 both have released versions of UI 8. Currently these are the only devices with released UI 8.

Beta UI 8 is happening on the S25 series and other devices.

Ou darn wonder why they would release it early on those devices. Would u know when it will come out for models older than the s25?

So, if the space is useless with those items on it, the space will still be useless without them - it's not like it's going to turn into usable space.  Put the things you don't/won't use out of your way and ignore them.

In the meantime, you can send feedback to the development team.

That's what I have done. I put them on the top out of the way.

Everything I use is reachable with my thumb!
