Galaxy S23Since the ONE UI 8.0 was installed, my home alarm app will not open (I tried deleting and reinstalling, clearing cache etc. but the issues remain (Still have not determined what other apps are not functioning) Rolling out new software PREMATURELY (not thoroughly tested) is criminal.
My password app is now very very slow.
Both of these are critical everyday apps.
All supports says is they are aware of the problem and are working on it. Post in the user app so developers can read it. MEANWHILE....
These "issues" create customer dissatisfaction and an internal COST to Samsung which gets applied as part of the "cost of doing business" WHO pays for that? The customers. YOU and ME.

Galaxy S23@Members_9uMkgi7 I'm sorry that you are having this issue. In reality, every app developer is responsible for keeping their app up to date with the current OS and UI combination. If they are unable to do that, they really should send out warnings to their users about doing an update.
Did you wipe the device cache partition after the update? I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.
To wipe the device cache partition:
1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"
