News tiles on screen lock

My phone now has news tiles in the screen lock. 

Is there a way to take these off?

Try this:
1. Open Settings and tap Lock screen and AOD
2. Tap Now bar (or Now brief, depending on your
One UI version).
3. Turn off the switch for Now brief or the specific
app showing news.

I have same problem amd I tried that and it doesn't take it away! The blocks are from CNN, yahoo and CBS News mainly.
