I discovered that this issue is widespread. I have successfully identified a solution: simply enable contact permissions within OneDrive. This resolved the problem.

What do you mean your account keeps closing?  You mean the Samsung account app?  One Drive is not a Samsung product, it is a Microsoft product, so it shouldn't affect it.

You can try wiping the phone's cache partition and/or wiping the app's cache (go to settings/apps/Samsung account).  If neither of those work, you can force stop the app and reboot your phone.  If it continues to happen do a factory reset of your phone and restore your backup.  Make sure any personally created data is saved to a flash drive.

I would think you need to reset your password. This just happened to me as well. Go to the website in your browser to reset your password. Strange

Try opening up the Samsung Galaxy app and updating any of the Native apps to your phone and if that doesn't work I know it's annoying but I would do a manufacturer reset of your phone that should take care of the problem even though it's a pain in the butt but usually it might be the only way if it was a software glitch
