Hello all. Hopefully simple issue: especially when using youtube in browser, but in other apps as well (just does it more frequently for YT) my keyboard will repeatedly close while I am in the middle of typing. It does this regardless of typing speed, hand position, or any physical changes I could think of including removing or changing cases. Attempting to change to google's keyboard yielded similar issues. Have also been having issues with the keyboard typing too many of each letter, up to 4 when pressed once, (ex: ok to ooook) and backspacing too far.
Try wiping the "cache partition" to see if that helps. It's safe and won't remove your settings or app files. Clearing the "cache partition" can help resolve any issues caused by old or corrupted system cache data.
Follow the steps below,
Clear the cache partition - Turn the phone off (shut down) - Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the side key. - When the Android system recovery menu options show release buttons. - Press the volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition. - Press the side key to select. - Press the volume down key to highlight yes, then press the side key to select. - When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system is now highlighted. - Press the side key to restart the device.
Yes, this has been happening to me on my S23 Ultra as well... especially if I'm doing something where it requires me to enter something into a field. You can see if there's an update for the Samsung Keyboard in the Galaxy Store... sometimes there is, and it'll work well for awhile before glitching again.
