I just got updated and now it's possible by swiping down from the top right hand corner to display all this without unlocking:

How do I completely disable swipe on the lock screen?

I use biometric / PIN security and I don't want to be able to do nor see ANYTHING (ideally including answering the phone) from the lock screen without first explicitly unlocking. Some of these actions will prompt for security but they shouldn't even be available at all from the lock screen. When a device is locked, it should be totally, completely locked out to all actions except entering credentials.

I've turned off everything I can find in Settings, but it's still there.

Any ideas?

.... it's never ending that every update just gets dumber and dumber.  *sigh*

You can't disable it.

Hmmm... well that's pretty insecure by default, then.

I'm not sure why you would be worried about others being able to access those features when swiping down... Like the Flashlight?

While you can swipe down, you cannot turn on or off any of the toggles. This is also on my Pixel 9proXl on Android 16 Beta. I have tested this by turning off trusted places, while responding to this post.

None of the toggles can be accessed, unless you have extended unlocked active.

This is why I only use trusted places.

Which raises the question, why are they there at all, then? I realize that's a Samsung UI design / philosophy question and nothing us lowly pond-scum users can do anything about. But it's a valid question nonetheless.

I had kinda hoped Nova Prime would have some degree of control over that, but apparently not.

Custom launchers like Nova only change how you interact with the home screen and app drawer, nothing else.
