I have questions about Odin and One ui 7 firmware

I was trying to flash one ui 7, and I'm tryna get the files from sammobile, is it fine if I flash the ones that has their carrier as xfinifty mobile or Comcast on my ATT phone

I would be careful using odin

Some will have issues with Odin if not done right you will get a bricked or not working phone best advice get updates when they come from carrier

You can wait a few week for the update to ui7.

I would suggest only the unlocked firmware or unfortunately waiting a few weeks until you can find hopefully the AT&t firmware as for some reason they're very secretive with theirs, you might lose a few functions or you may even gain a few functions but unlocked U1 firmware I would think it would be your best bet because any other software technically it will install that carriers version of the firmware but most firmware is now once it reads your sim card it's just going to try to reset itself at least that's in my personal opinion what it's always done unless you have an disabler program and you go in and you search for the cidmanager system app and after you have a certain firmware you have running disable that system app and from there no matter what SIM card you put into it it will keep the firmware and the settings that you're currently on

I think I might've to wait because the only ui7 files available are from Comcast and xfinity mobile U models. Thank you so much for the info, I might use this info for one ui 8 who knows 😅
