I find it quite annoying that notifications are grouped by default - I use a lot of chat apps so the grouping just makes it more work to see all my new messages. Is there a way to turn it off? I don't see anything in settings.

It was my understanding that, just as they are now, they are grouped together by app not all apps together in one big bubble. Is this not correct?  In any case, I understand that there is a number on the right of the notification stack and if you tap that, the notifications will separate (they must, or what is the point of having notifications?).  Another way to go would be to activate Notistar in Good Lock and you will be able to see all your notifications and messages individually, both in the app and on the lock screen (if you choose).

That is not how they used to work - or if it is, you used to be able to disable it and they seem to have removed that option

Well, that's how it works for me, notifications from a single app are grouped into one bubble.  The only difference I can see is that the stacked bubble in OneUI6.1 has the up to the first three usernames with a small number for how many notifications there are, and descending arrow to expand the notifications to be able to tap and go to the message.  The same principal is involved in the new format, except you only get the number.  This is the way it works now.  As I said, use NotiStar and you will be able to read all your notifications, complete right on your lock screen (they are hidden to prying eyes until you tap the icon), and they are kept for 30 days or until you dismiss them, so if you accidentally missed one in the notifications, you can still see it.

Well it's great that it used to work that way for you but I don't really see how that helps me. And I don't think the lock screen thing will solve my problem because it will only affect the lock screen.

You will still be able to see your notifications sepetately, and not just on The lock screen., also in the Notistar App. But hey, if you'd rather just just moan anout the new way, that's fine. It's your decision. You are obviously not looking for help

I want the notifications to be non-grouped in the notifications view. The notifications view is not the lock screen or the Notistar App. I will try both of those things for sure! But it doesn't sound like they solve the core problem.
