Usually when you download a photo, an album is created for each site, like Facebook, instagram, etc. and any time you add a new photo, it ends up there. Sometines, it may end up in a heneric download folder. If it ends up in the download folder, just create an album for the app, and move the photos to it.

All my downloads are in Recent. I think I spent five hours today trying to organize them. I just want my Pinterest downloads to be in the Pinterest folder, not Recent. šŸ˜Ŗ

Recent is not a "real" album. It's a virtual album that just makes it easier to access you last added or accessed a photo. Deleting a photo from recents, also deletes it from whatever album it lands in and your phone. You cannot move a photo from there either. You can hide the recents "album" so it does not confuse you, but it will always be there. Pictures you download from an app will either end up in their own folder or the download folder. Show "all albums ", and you will see which one your pictures landed in, and from there you can put them where you want them.
