1--On April 30, I installed UI 7. The version and build numbers are below.
2--PROBLEM--My lock screen no longer shows up. I tap twice to unlock and I get the home page.
3--Went to "Edit Lock Screen" and my lock screen wallpaper from my gallery is still there. So I click "Done" and "changes applied to lock screen".
4--Then, 5 separate times, I go to edit play with the aettings: add/delete widgets, change wallpapers, add effects, etc. Each time "changes applied" is confirmed. Still no lock screen.
5--In addition, I wiped the cache partition in recovery mode, made sure that there are no updates pending, restarted the phone.
6--I.don't have Good Lock or such apps. AOD is off.
7--To unlock, I just tap and swipe. No password, biometrics, fingerprint, PIN, or pattern swipe. This is my work phone and it never leaves the house.
I just figured out that if I set a pin my lock screen is functioning again. Guess we are forced to set up security now. Like you I had no need for it. If I turn off security the lock screen disappears again.
