Right now Google sucks at making these changes on the Android platform just because they think they know what's best. I don't know if they do this or not but maybe they should have questionnaires asking their users what we consider good and bad features. And the questionnaire should ask many people not just 100 folks. I still don't have my trusted devices feature back on my S23FE. Using routines to set up it's not that great. I rather have my "trusted devices" feature back on my phone.
For years I've been silent on the changes that were made on my phone system and I'm done being silent. I've had a cell phone since the early 90's. I pay for my devices and they're mine but I have no say on the updates that my phone gets. Why can't I deny features I don't want? Now my search bar on my phone moved from the top of the screen to the bottom and I can't move it back. What's up Samsung? Why doesn't Samsung say something to Google or have a say? Samsung is the largest Android system user.
I can't stand Apple or their system and now I'm getting a bad taste in my mouth with Android. As soon as there is a different platform available I'm switching.
I liked 6. But as for 7? I LOVE IT! I use Nova launcher. 7 installed and I didn't see that much of a difference. Went deeper and found tons of new features that blended perfectly with Nova. Crisper, cleaner, faster, more responsive. Still searching. Playing with the new features. Yeah the battery meter is a pain especially between 40-60%when the dividing line is in the middle, but big deal. I love 7
