Hello, I decided to sideload the One UI 7 beta on my S23 because I heard that it doesn't result in data loss. However, I'm wondering what happens when the stable release is available. Since sideloading the beta means I no longer receive OTA updates, will I be able to sideload the stable update without losing my data, or will a factory reset be mandatory? I followed a guide from a blog that didn't mention the transition process to the stable release, and it encouraged updating to the beta for its data preservation benefits. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
You will still get OTA updates even if you side loaded the update at least I did when I did the Android 14 last year I believe once the stable update rolls out it will still be pushed to you just like the beta builds if your worried about losing data just do a backup right before and restore your phone from the back up
