Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

Likely just a bugged update that will have to be pulled and fixed

It's weird how some people can update and some cannot with the s23 ultra.

After searching the internet, I managed to see that one of the causes was internal memory storage; I had only 3 GB free. I proceeded to delete some things, managing to have 90 GB free, and now I go for 60% downloaded in 30 minutes, compared to before, which reached 20% and always interrupted and a mistake jumped. Maybe this will help with your case as well.

That is not it.  I have 396 GB of storage and 4.6 GB of RAM free.  (Memory and Storage are two different things.  Deleting files does not free up memory.  That only frees up storage)

I have a 23 ultra.  I switched from Verizon to Google Fi.  Still getting error. Phone is unlocked.  But still presents Verizon hello etc upon restart.

I switch to Verizon approximately 2 years ago. I wish I had not done that. Their customer service is poor. I kept getting caught up in the automated system. And finally when I will get through to customer service they were not very helpful. Verizon as a service I think he's okay but I will leave a business over customer service. And that's where they are lacking
