DND on modes

Is it just me or is anyone else having the same issue? When I set up DNC for my sleep mode I added a list of my contacts that should be allowed during do not contact but seems like they are still blocked. I have turned it on and off to see if something would change but it hasn't. I've also tried favorite contacts only and no luck. And yes everything is up to date.

You don't need a specific text app. You can allow any app through that you have on your phone. I do not know and cannot explain why the configurations are disappearing, but you are not the only one. This seems to be a recent complaint of S series users. You can try configuing the DND within sleep mode and try turning on sleep mode at night to see if the problem resolves. It may not, because even though each instance is separate , they are driven by the same engine. I may be able to create a routine that bypasses DND to allow those calls and texts through. I'll play around when I have time later today and post if I managed it.

Thank you. I will try a couple of things you and others have mentioned. I feel like the more options phones have, the more lost and frustrated I feel. 🫩

Ok. The best i can come up with right now, unless someone comes up with something better, is to create and run two separate routines and forego DND entirely. For the trigger, insert your own normal bedtime and, of course your contacts. You can also just skip the mute routine and manually mute your phone (in case, for some reason, the two routines conflict - they shouldn't)
