DND on modes

Is it just me or is anyone else having the same issue? When I set up DNC for my sleep mode I added a list of my contacts that should be allowed during do not contact but seems like they are still blocked. I have turned it on and off to see if something would change but it hasn't. I've also tried favorite contacts only and no luck. And yes everything is up to date.

Do you mean do not disturb (DND)? I have no issue with it, but I set it to allow only favorites through and diid not bother with a list. You could try adding those you want to let through as favorites, and just selecing favorite contacts only.

Also, did you add the same list for both calls and texts? You have to do each feature separately.

I just noticed the allowed apps under DND and had none allowed so just added phone and messages. I'll see if that works! 🤞🏽

I've seen people on here complaining about DND not working properly on some S models after the OneUI7 update. I do not have an S model, which may be why I am unaffected.

It hasn't worked since I got it, even before the update. But I'll find out soon if the changes I made works

Well, i didnt have to add those parameters, but I'm sure it won't hurt. Otherwise put in an error report.

I have a similar issue. I keep adding my kids numbers in as exceptions to the DND mode, and every morning I get up, there are no contacts listed. 😠

Are you turning on sleep mode or DND at night?  Sleep mode has it's own iteration of DND and must be configured separately.  Sleep mode DND is configured to let nothing through. The configuration from normal DND does not carry over to other modes that include a DND component - each one must be configured separately, as there may be certain modes where you want nothing at all, or different contacts to come through.

I am using DND only. I am now wondering if I need to add a specific text app since I use a third party app? It still doesn't explain the contacts disappearing at some point during the night. (Plus, I haven't changed anything for making/receiving phone calls.) I have added the specific contacts to allow them thru, exited out, and then gone back in a few minutes later, and the contacts were still there - however, not once, since I started using this feature, have the specific contacts remained until morning. My son son hit a deer at 1 am a month ago, and he could not get a hold of me due to this. 🤬
