I have a 2020 Kia Sportage. Any suggestions? I have an S23 Ultra. Ps I can make commands like opening Spotify.

I would suggest contacting your dealership and updating your car's firmware (expensive), as you may have an older Bluetooth version installed in the car. Or, download the current Android Auto (AA) app and connect via USB data cord, which will keep your phone charged as well. (Nothing like arriving at your destination with an almost dead battery.) AA does have some better features than may car's software, Ford Sync, and I can control more Spotify features with AA, like 'play my ? playlist' or 'play such-and-such song by artist', where I can only Play, Pause, Skip, Ffw, Rwd on my staring wheel controls and my car's software. The maps are usually more current as well. I generally use my car's software on local trips and Android Auto on long ventures.
My Bluetooth works fine with Sync, but I have to use the phone if I wish to listen to a particular song, album, or Playlist. Something I don't want to do when driving, especially on a busy freeway going 70 mph.
I've never been able to get AA to work via Bluetooth alone, but I have an older car, a 2016 C-Max hybrid Energi, that I've update the software on twice, but now that I'm retired and drive less, I'm not willing to pay the cost. AA always works with a USB cable for me though.
