Can't change the calendar notification sound

I did all of the notification categories enabling and all that. I've tried everything I can think of to try to change this and nothing works. 

Whenever I have it set to a strong setting on the reminder, while I'm using my phone it just plays this default happy little tune. I can't change it at all. It only plays the strong tune I said it to when the screen is off, there is no option to change the reminder sound when the screen is on and I'm using my phone. I just think the happy little default song is dumb and I want to change it.

Hello jazzule380, welcome to the Samsung Community. I understand your frustrations on changing the notification sound in the calendar app.

First lets clear the cache to the Calendar app: Open Settings, Tap Apps, Tap Calendar, Tap Storage and clear Cache. 

Open Settings, Tap Notifications, App Notifications, Calendar, Configure in Calendar, Calendar Notifications Sound. 

Also you can change Task Notifications sound, and you can also change default notifications by going to the individual calendar.

Open Calendar App, Tap Settings, Alert Type, Short Sound, Sound

If you are still having issues please submit an error report: Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.

Alert type is strong, I already set a sound. But when I'm using my phone it plays a default song, and doesn't play the long sound that I selected. I guess will submit an error report, because there is no possible way to change the calendar notification sound while the phone is in use, as there is no option and it will not play the selected sound, because that only plays when the screen is off.
