Im never buying another Samsung phone that's for sure. This phone has been great since I bought it 2 years ago, yet now Samsung is purposely nerfing it with these new updates.

Galaxy S23Sure, Samsung is deliberately tanking their phones so they can lose market share. After updates, the adaptive battery resets and has to re-learn usage patterns. For a short period of time after an update, extra battery power may be used while things are put in place in the background. Your apps look for updates. The main update takes place immediately, but to avoid disruption in use, many things happen afterward and this may cause excessive battery drain or overheating. You need to wait for your phone to stabilize.
