My phone (S23) used to connect to Android Auto with a cable or using blue tooth. Now after the update, my phone will not connect using blue tooth or by cable, it acts like it's not even there. The car just says connect a phone using blue tooth or cable. I went to Samsung Help Chat and after waiting an hour the only answer I got was "Check with Honda". This happened to my wife's S20+ and we never got it resolved.

I have tried clearing the phones cache and the android auto cache and still can't connect. Anybody have an answer?

Have you unpaired the phone from the vehicle in BT settings? Also try deleting it from the head unit under vehicle settings. Then you can attempt to reconnect and re-pair.

You need to go to SETTINGS - SECURITY AND PRIVACY - look for AUTO BLOCKER and make sure it's disabled (gray and not blue). It thinks it's a suspicious activity via USB. If it is already disabled then you may need to confirm your vehicle software is updated and/or reset previous connections. My bet is on the Auto Blocker

I found the problem after trying all the suggestions I could find on the web. It was a simple solution, just reboot the cars infotainment system. This required me to push in the On-Off  button for 5 to 10 seconds until the screen said "Reboot System?"  I did this and my problem went away.

Found the solution! It just required me to reboot the infotainment system. I just simply held the power button down until the screen said "Reboot System" and hit the yes button. Two minutes later it came back up and my phone, after pairing it again, went right to Android Auto and everything works great.
