Alarm stops ringing when I pick up the phone

Hi everyone!

So, when using the default clock app, when the alarm goes off, the moment I pick up the phone, it stops ringing.

I don't want that. I usually have a hard time waking up, and if it stops ringing after I pick it up, I end up sleeping with the phone in my hands.

This didnt happen in previous versions. Any way to disable it?

One possibility is that when you are grabbing your phone, you are accidentally placing your palm over the screen, which will mute alarms because of an advanced feature setting.

To stop this:

Go to Settings
Click on Advanced features
Click on Motions and gestures
Turn off Mute with gestures
