Wouldn't it be cool to customize the alarm interface like you can the lock & home screen?

You can, though the options are somewhat limited. While editing an alarm, scroll all the way down to change the background and clock style. 1765035415846.jpg1765035415866.jpg

You can choose a photo from your gallery. When you edit the alarm background, at the top left it says "backgrounds". Tap that and select any preinstalled background or go to the gallery selection and choose your photo.

You can't resize the clock style, though. The customization options are very limited.JVCtOj76bc.png

Guess you gotta go with what they have.  You still get to have the background of your choice.  If your alarm goes off, you know what time it is anyway, so what difference does the size of the clock make?  Still looks readable to me.

The problem is that the new One UI alarm doesn't show the seconds, you know. While the older TouchWiz alarm clock showed the seconds hand, this was removed and replaced with a digital interface on the Galaxy S5. The only workaround to display the seconds is to set a timer (not an alarm) that will go off when the real time clock seconds hit zero (this only works on One UI 5 and later with QuickStar from Good Lock).

EXAMPLES
• 1st screenshot: An old alarm screen with the current time at 6:52:06 AM.
• 2nd screenshot: A conceptual alarm screen with the current time at 12:00:26 AM (shown counting up as -00:00:26). Notice that the seconds hand is removed, but the digital readout compensates for it.HsohvwMxNO.pngPq04ME6aTc.png

Curious. Why would you need seconds to show on an alarm? If the alarm goes off, one can assume it was at 00 seconds.

If you use a standard alarm, it will only show the time in hours and minutes (i.e., 12:00 AM). If you use a timer instead, you can see the time in hours:minutes:seconds (i.e., -00:00:26 for 12:00:26 AM).

Still don't understand why you would need seconds for an alarm
