Hello, there. I did ask this same question to our product team. They advise that the AI features are for the S24 series only. All S23 devices will recieve the new one UI however.

No, that seems to be where I'm drawing the line in the sand. Guess I'm getting old...

At least you've got a update, myS21+ & 6 Day old S23 ultra that is still on Android 13 with the Dec 1st security patch, we all need A14 for the Dec 5th security patch to protect us from googles zero day exploits that are dangerous to our devices.

Just installed the January security patch on my S23U today. Not sure which is your carrier. Even the S21s should have gotten Android 14 by now.

I totally agree. However, both of my devices were bought factory unlocked straight from Samsung.

That said, they should not rely on a carrier pushed update. But again, I COMPLETELY agree with you , I should've gotten it by now. I'm in cyber security and in development, which I normally don't openly say or disclose due to unwanted attention. However, its really important to me personally to tell people why the update is so important, before speaking on that, I have tried every method to get the update, whether using an active At&t or Tmoble sim card, or even using smart switch on PC to update but. still nothing.

Back to the subject of why we needed the update, I actually ended up having the first and only post as a Samsung community member removed because I was explaining the CVE Exploits in detail and explaining just hoe dangerous it is to our devices. I personally just want to spread awareness.

I actually understand how bad these CVE exploits are and the real dangers that come with it. So, to me, it's a little unacceptable that we don't have an update yet on a wider scale. I'm glad to see some people have gotten it. But aside from my Galaxy S21 Ultra, I have S21+ and a 6 day old S23 Ultra. I'm thinking of returning because it's still on Android 13 as well. In my opinion, the S 21,22,23 series should be getting the updates first without question.

But to get a brand new unlocked S23 still on Android 13 was disappointing. Other than rooting my devices , maybe to lineage OS, or a build of Android 14 , there is not much I can do.. Apologies on the long reply, it's just we spend a lot of money on these devices for a terribly updating system, I understand there are variables, but it's been 3 months now.

Finally, the last thing I will say use both Apple and Android and love them both. But this is why Apple will always when via their eco-system and updating system. Samsung and Android in general really has to get it together, I really don't see the updates coming before the end of January, and that's not okay with the security risks. Again. Apologies on the rant . it's just dangerous as just one of these CVE Exploits are a complete no click remote takeover of your device, and you'd never know it happened, there are 6 more after that equally as dangerous hence my impatience and concern for everyone including myself.
