Texting issue after ui 8 update

Having an issue sending texts after latest ui update also my wife who has a S22 Ultra mine is a S25 ultra we have the same issues tried resetting the APN and Clearing Cache Partition and still have issues

Me. I posted my message at the end of the chat. Galaxy 22s ultra. Haven't been able to send texts for 24hrs. Only RCS works. Nothing else. Verizon reset my phone with an esim. It did nothing. I have done every reset, switch on and off, all the hoops and the problem persists. My case has been escalated.  I will update you if I get any resolution.  If you wouldnt mind doing the same.

Every once in a while I have an issue that requires me to turn on airplane mode or restart my phone to be able to get my data to function correctly. Consider checking your data speeds to see if your connection is functioning correctly. I do not have this issue right now but will update if I do.

Btw! Make sure to turn off all connections! Then turn them back on. I think airplane mode leaves wifi on. I don't know why this issue happens to me, but a hard restart (full shutdown, wait 10 second then boot up) usually fixes the issue.

I think i have it narrowed down to RCS in general I've had a few people tell me they are having issues texting as well a friend of mine said they are having issues sending texts as well and they have an iPhone so it doesnt look like the ui 8 update but an issue with RCS

Are you using Samsung or Google Messages?
