Hello!

I sent my s22 ultra to get service done on it. I did the temp cloud backup on it. It took hours, but it completed. I then put it in maintenance mode. I shipped it out to the samsung repair, and got it back. Now when I am trying to restore it, it is greyed out on the temp cloud backup. What should I do? I am missing my app data and my secure folder data. Is it even backed up? If so where? And is it possible to get it back?

Thanks

Yes I got my phone back within 30 days. And I am using the same Samsung account. When I got the phone, it was not it maintenance mode. It was fully reset

Hello aashay2035, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with trying to restore your data after the service.

Try these steps:

Complete your device's initial setup, and be sure to sign in to the same Samsung account that holds your backup.

  1. Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Device care.

  2. Tap Maintenance mode, then tap Temporary cloud backup.

  3. Tap Restore data. If there are any items you do not want restored, you can tap them to remove the checkmark. Tap Restore data when you are ready.

Let us know if this helps.
