Temporary cloud backup restore option greyed out after S22 Ultra repair

Hello!

I sent my s22 ultra to get service done on it. I did the temp cloud backup on it. It took hours, but it completed. I then put it in maintenance mode. I shipped it out to the samsung repair, and got it back. Now when I am trying to restore it, it is greyed out on the temp cloud backup. What should I do? I am missing my app data and my secure folder data. Is it even backed up? If so where? And is it possible to get it back?

What do you mean by temp backup? You really shouldnt have had to do anything extra as far as backup goes, since your phone auto backs up every night. So, at the very least, you should have your last auto backup available. How did you do the backup? Did you use Smart Switch? A backup shouldn't have taken hours, so perhaps your backup was corrupted? In any case, taking the phone out of maintenance mode should have returned your phone to normal with everything intact, unless the repair service had to factory reset your phone. You did remember to take it out of maintenance mode, didn't you? If you did not, that may be why you cannot restore your backup. Can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing?

This is the temp cloud backup so when you give your phone to maintenance it restores all the apps. Not the basic stuff. I already had that saved.

It's the temp cloud one that Samsung Cloud has.

The temporary backups are only stored 30 days. Did you get the device back within 30 days of storing the temporary backup?

Did you use the same Samsung account when saving the backup and trying to restore it?
