Spen not accurate on screen

My spen for my tax s7 jumps around, doesn't recognize taps and overall can not be used most of the time. Any suggestion on how to fix?

Do you need to recalibrate your screen? Are there settings for the S-Pen to calibrate it to your screen.  Is there a diagnostic for it in the phone diagnostics?  Could it be an indicator that the S-Pen is dying?

I didnt see a setting to recalibrate the pen. I did a diagnostic for whole tablet and the pen had to go overr the boxes a couple times for it to pass. I didnt use it much when i got the tablet but have been lately and its always charged

Just because it's always charged doesn't mean it isn't dying or defective. It sounds like there might be a signal interruption. There is a tiny app in the Play store called Touchscreen Calibration. It may or may not be of use to you.

There is a diagnostics test in the members app that can be used to test your S Pen specifically.  Another possibility for what could be going on is your case.  Does your case have a magnet on it, like a mag safe wireless charging coil?  If these are not shielded, then the magnetism can actually interfere with S Pen operations.  Try the test both with and without your case to see if it is any different, if so, you may want to look around for a different case.
