Galaxy S22Does anyone like the View All option for longer text messages?? I ALWAYS want to View All!!! Is there an option that allows me to actually see all of my messages without specifically asking to see them? Who thought it was a good idea to hide parts of the message anyway, and make us go to a separate screen to see the whole thing?

Galaxy S22I do not know to what you are referring? Which messaging app? I always see my whole message when I open the app. On the watch there is only limited space, so one needs to scroll. How long of a message are you talking about? Did someone write an essay?

Galaxy S22You did not answer the question as to which messaging app you are using. I have received some pretty long messages at times and I have been able to see and every one of them at a glance. The only time I have to scroll is if the message starts at the bottom of my screen. I have never once seen a "view more".

Galaxy S22I got here through the app, so I assumed that this post would be about that app.

Galaxy S22Oh, I see that's an older version of Samsung Messages. Samsung Messages should be on v16.0.11.11, although I suspect the behavior would be the same. You should switch to Google messages if you abhor the "view more" so much. You won't get it in Google.

Galaxy S22You will not use ANY of their products? How do you reconcile using an Android phone, which is the most Google of Google products? Samsung is phasing out their messaging app and are unlikely to make any changes to how it has been behaving. Also if you are using SMS and not RCS (on the S22, I understand RCS is not available in Samsung Messages - if it is, it's only on those with T-Mobile), then there is a character limitation on messages - hence the "view more". This is not a Samsung thing, it is an SMS limitation. Even if RCS was available to you in Samsung Messages, you shouldn't use it anyway, since it's a Google product.
