Why? Phones are electronic devices. Electronics *do* fail. You have an S22, which is an aging phone and, like humans, age can equal frailty. How is this Samsung's fault? Your motherboard could have been quietly failing and failed without the update. The update likely put too much of a strain on an already weakened component - enough to result in total failure. This is not the fault of the update or Samsung.
