S22+ still stuck on One UI 7

Has ANYONE on the S22s been stuck on 7 yet? Because I'm the only one. There's some kind of bug on my device, a S22+. Please help because the rollout has sadly finished with the Tab Series finishing up. Please please help

So it seems. But it still shows up as a carrier model (ends in U, not U1). At one time, it was locked to a carrier. It's possible that even though the CSC was changed, the firmware is still carrier-locked.

Do you have a SIM in it? There doesn't appear to be any carrier-associated software. Unless you have Mint. I don't think they have a carrier-specific code.

It's possible that you *may* get the update straight from Samsung and just have to wait a while longer. Or, as I mentioned earlier, you may have carrier-locked firmware and the phone is unsuccessfully trying to communicate with those servers to download the update.

When did you acquire the phone? Was it before or after that April 2025 security patch?

It's stuck on April and I got it october

Did you Odin-flash the phone or was it like that before you got it?

I never Odin flashed it. Why did you assume?

That wasn't an assumption, that was a question. Because of the model code, it's obvious that it was originally a carrier model. If I had to guess, I'd say that something went wrong with the unlocked firmware flash attempt.

You have two options that I can see:

1. Wait to see if an update comes through. This could take a while or never happen at all.

2. Take the phone to an authorized service center to have them re-flash unlocked firmware. There will be a fee for this service. See this link to find a location near you:

Nope I'm going via smart switch... Maybe when it finds a one UI 8 build it will flash the unlocked build??? That's my assumption? Maybe it got lost in the airplane before it got properly flashed? It works completely fine!
