Hello, I am trying to swap my wife over to my old S22 Ultra, and when i went to set it up for her after the factory reset, the phone now is set up with SAMSUNG ADMIN and is saying it's owned by a organization. but it was never a company phone. i bought it right from either Samsung or Amazon unlocked and never had this admin mode for it. How can i remove it so that i can set it up for my wife?

Thank you.

That makes it even more curious. That's why I deeply distrust these apps that give admin privileges to a non-user. There's an app called 'Seperated Apps' that showed up on my phone after an update. It says it's to allow a business to 'manage' a private user's phone. It has insane permissions, and it can't be disabled or deleted.
I bought my phone new, and have never had a business account. The reviews of the Play Store show that my phone isn't the only one infected.

Just wondering what it would do if it had service. I'm wondering if it would set up normal

i can not add a service to it, because it is somehow tied to a organization.

If you can't delete or shut off Samsung admin, you can take it to a Samsung service center and flash the phone with the latest firmware and start it a new. You should also try first to delete the phone from Google and Samsung accounts and see if this takes care of your problem with Samsung admin.

Cheers

i've factory reset the phone a few times, so wouldnt that remove any accounts from it? and none of the accounts that were connected to it, or will be, are from any companies. i think im just going to take it to Best Buy and see if they can do anything with it, as i do not appear to have any  actual Samsung stores even in the same state i live in.
